Friday August 20, 2010 – Day 2

Today we got up early and drove all day to Lily Dale, New York.

We saw two rush hours, three traffic jams, one car engulfed in flames and a semi that was literally torn in two by some unknown force.

We drove through six states: Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.

We arrived after dark in Jamestown NY and checked into our hotel, the Comfort Inn. Unfortunately, we arrived shortly after ten at night and the only restaurant nearby, Bob Evans (not Kathy's first choice), was closed for the evening. We had to walk across the highway and eat at McDonalds instead. Definitely not Kathy's first choice. Kathy has officially gotten her quota of McDonalds.
